While at Cambridge, Grace met Jack Patterson and Neil Amin-Smith, with whom she went on to form Clean Bandit. The band gained recognition for its unique fusion of classical and dance music elements. Clean Bandit achieved international acclaim in 2014 with their single “Rather Be,” featuring Jess Glynne. The song topped the UK Singles Chart and climbed to number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100. Its innovative sound and widespread appeal earned the group the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2015.
In addition to her musical endeavors, Grace Chatto co-founded the film production company Cleanfilm with fellow band member Jack Patterson. The company produces visually compelling music videos for Clean Bandit’s songs as well as for other artists, reinforcing the band’s creative control and multimedia approach to music promotion.
