<p>Jon Gruden was born on August 17, 1963, in Sandusky, Ohio. He is well known for his career as a National Football League (NFL) coach. Gruden is particularly recognized for his tenure as the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he achieved his greatest professional success.</p>

<h2>Super Bowl Victory with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers</h2>
<p>In January 2003, capping the 2002 season, Jon Gruden led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their first Super Bowl Championship by defeating the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII. At age 39, he became the youngest head coach to win a Super Bowl at that time, an achievement that solidified his reputation in NFL history.</p>

<h2>Return to Coaching with the Oakland Raiders</h2>
<p>After being fired by the Buccaneers in January 2009, Gruden transitioned into broadcasting and served as a commentator for ESPN’s Monday Night Football. However, his passion for the game remained strong. In 2018, he returned to the NFL as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders, a team he had previously coached from 1998 to 2001, signing a highly publicized 10-year contract. His return marked a notable chapter in the team's history as they prepared for their eventual relocation to Las Vegas. On October 11, 2021, Gruden resigned as the Raiders' head coach after emails he had sent between 2011 and 2018 containing racist, homophobic, and misogynistic language were made public.</p>
