Patrick Wilson is an American actor and singer best known for his leading role in the successful horror film series The Conjuring.
Patrick Joseph Wilson was born on July 3, 1973, in Norfolk, Virginia. He is the youngest of three sons in the Wilson family. His mother, Mary Kay Wilson, is a professional voice teacher and singer, while his father, John Franklin Wilson, worked as a newscaster for WTVT in Tampa, Florida. Upon John’s retirement, Patrick's older brother Mark Wilson succeeded him at the news station. His other brother, Paul Wilson, is a public relations executive and former politician. Patrick was raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he attended Shorecrest Preparatory School before earning his degree in drama from Carnegie Mellon University.
