Robert Reich is a well-regarded American political commentator, educator, and author. He served in multiple U.S. presidential administrations, most notably as Secretary of Labor under President Bill Clinton.
Robert Bernard Reich was born on June 24, 1946, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He later pursued higher education at Dartmouth College and earned degrees from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, followed by a law degree from Yale Law School.
Reich served as Secretary of Labor from 1993 to 1997 under President Bill Clinton. During his tenure, he focused on initiatives such as raising the minimum wage, improving workplace safety, and enforcing labor standards. His efforts earned recognition, with Time magazine naming him one of the ten best cabinet members of the 20th century.
