Eva Ulrika Jonsson was born on August 16, 1967, in Sollentuna Municipality, Sweden. She is the granddaughter of renowned Swedish operatic singer Folke Jonsson. Ulrika spent her early years in Sweden before relocating to the United Kingdom, where she would eventually establish her media career.
Ulrika Jonsson began her career in British television as a weather presenter on TV-am in the late 1980s. Her engaging on-screen presence led to roles on several prominent UK programs.
