Tracey Elaine Edmonds, born on February 18, 1967, in Los Angeles, California, is an American businesswoman, producer, and television personality. She is the daughter of Jacqueline and George McQuarn, who are currently divorced.
Edmonds graduated from Stanford University in 1987 with a degree in psychobiology. Her academic background laid a foundation for her later ventures in both the business and entertainment industries.
Following her graduation, Edmonds began her professional journey by running a successful mortgage and real estate business in California at the age of 20. In 1993, she founded Edmonds Entertainment Group Inc., a multimedia production company. The company gained significant attention with the critically acclaimed film Soul Food, which earned five NAACP Image Awards and helped establish her reputation as a producer.
In 1999, she signed a production deal with 20th Century Fox and produced the urban drama Light It Up under Fox 2000. Building on her growing influence in the entertainment industry, Edmonds solidified her position as a respected producer and studio executive.
Tracey Edmonds currently serves as CEO of Edmonds Entertainment and Chief Operating Officer and President of Our Stories Films. Williams, Issa Rae, Deion Sanders, AJ Johnson, and Chef Brian Hill, among others.
In addition to her role as a media executive, Edmonds has also worked as a television host. She was a co-host on the syndicated entertainment news program Extra and is currently a member of the national board of directors for the Producers Guild of America.
