Kristin Davis was born in Colorado and she was the only child for their parents but they decided to get a divorce when she was only a baby. After this, she was adopted by Keith Davis, professor at the University when he decided to marry her mother who was a university data analyst.  She had 3 step sisters from the first marriage of her adoptive father.  When she was a child, her parents went to Columbia and her father was teaching at the University of South Carolina.

Kristin Davis liked to play from the early age and she was a cast member of Workshop Theatre Production for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  She lived in South Caroline until her graduation from the High school in 1983. She went to New Jersey to attend Rutgers University. She graduated from Mason Gross School of the Arts in BFA degree in 1987.

Kristin Davis has an adopted daughter called Gemma Rose Davis and they live in California.  She was alcoholic and she said that she started to drink alcohol when she was still young and she needed alcohol to act because she was too shy.  She stopped to drink at the age of 22 and she says that she misses it since it is not that easy to stop drinking. When she visited Africa in 2009, she saw an abandoned small elephant and arrange on how it can be taken to Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. For this act, she was given Humane Society Wyler Award of 2010, which is the award given to a celebrity who make news because of helping the animals.

Kristin Davis has a continuing career in the Television and her daughter Gemma Rose took most of her time and she says that marriage is not at her list of things that she has to do now. She said that she would wish to have a boyfriend but she wants someone who is willing to be there for her daughter because stability is an important part of the life her daughter’s life. She says that she admires her friends who are in a steady marriage and she sometime thinks how it can feel for her.  Kristin Davis is believed to have a number of boyfriends in the past like Damian Lewis, Steve Martin and Reed Diamond.

 Kristin Davis’s net worth is 60 million dollars and she started to get a salary from her acting when she was still young. She owns a Yoga studio in New York. She got an Emmy for her role of Charlotte in HBO series.
