Alexie Gilmore was born on January 1, 1976, in Manhattan, New York. She later moved to Tenafly, New Jersey, where she attended high school. Gilmore pursued higher education at Allentown College (now DeSales University) in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, majoring in Theater. Although she had not initially considered a career in acting, her first on-stage experience during a ninth-grade school play inspired her to pursue acting professionally.

Acting Career

Alexie Gilmore began her professional acting career in 2000 with a role in the film Lisa Picard is Famous, directed by Griffin Dunne. Although the role was minor, it marked her official entry into the industry. Her breakthrough came in 2009 with the dark comedy World's Greatest Dad, where she starred alongside Robin Williams. In 2013, she played a leading role in the independent horror film Willow Creek, directed by Bobcat Goldthwait. Her performance received attention within the indie film circuit.

In addition to acting, Gilmore ventured into producing. She co-produced Willow Creek in 2013 and later worked on the behind-the-scenes short documentary Willow Creek: The Making of Willow Creek. These projects marked her initial foray into production.
