Jesse Eisenberg is an American actor, playwright, author, and humorist. He made his television debut on the short-lived comedy-drama series Get Real. His film breakthrough came with a leading role in the comedy-drama Roger Dodger, followed by appearances in films such as the psychological thriller The Village and the drama The Emperor’s Club. He gained further recognition with roles in the comedy-drama The Squid and the Whale, the dark comedy The Living Wake, and The Education of Charlie Banks.
