Stephanie began her professional media career in 2011 while still a student, serving as a weather presenter and reporter at the Northern Television Center in DeKalb. Balancing academic work with her on-air responsibilities, she developed a strong foundation in journalism and broadcasting.
Following her graduation, Stephanie joined KMVT-TV in Twin Falls, Idaho, where she worked as a weather presenter and reporter under the guidance of chief meteorologist Brian Neudorff. Her time at KMVT-TV marked the start of her professional growth in meteorology and live reporting.

Her work earned her a nomination for the Chicago/Midwest Regional Emmy Awards in 2016 and 2017 for excellence in weather reporting.
Stephanie Mead currently serves as the weather and traffic anchor for the WISH-TV news team. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, WISH-TV has provided her with a platform to leverage both her meteorological expertise and on-air communication skills.
