Lindsay Shookus is an American television producer best known for her work on the iconic sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live (SNL). Over the course of her career, she has received seven Primetime Emmy Award nominations and won once for her contributions to SNL.
Lindsay Anne Shookus was born on June 18, 1980, in Williamsville, New York. Her father, Robert Shookus, was an entrepreneur in the hardware and housewares industry, while her mother, Christine Shookus, worked as a sales representative. She was raised in Williamsville and attended Williamsville South High School. Shookus went on to study journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating in 2002.
Immediately after graduating from college, Shookus began her career in television as an assistant to longtime producer Marci Klein at Saturday Night Live. Her role expanded over the years, and in 2008 she was promoted to associate producer. Between 2008 and 2010, Shookus also earned producer credits on the acclaimed comedy series 30 Rock, contributing to 45 episodes.

Shookus met television producer Kevin Miller in 2002. The couple married in 2010 and welcomed a daughter, Madeline, in early 2013. They divorced in 2014.
