Melissa Lee is an American journalist and television anchor. She is best known for her work as the host of CNBC's Fast Money and Options Action. She has been with the network since 2004 and has become one of the most recognizable faces in business news.

Early Life
Melissa Lee was born in Great Neck, New York in 1974. She is of Chinese descent and grew up in a middle-class family. She attended Great Neck North High School and graduated in 1992. She then went on to Harvard University, where she earned a degree in government in 1995.
Career
After graduating from Harvard, Melissa Lee worked as a consultant at Mercer Management Consulting before moving into journalism at Bloomberg Television and CNN Financial News. She then moved to CNBC in 2004, and in 2009 she became host of the show Fast Money. She has since become one of the most recognizable faces in business news.
In addition to her work on Fast Money, Melissa Lee has also hosted a number of other shows on CNBC. She hosts the show Options Action, previously hosted Money in Motion: Currency Trading, and has co-anchored Power Lunch since 2015. She has also been an occasional host of Closing Bell and a correspondent on Squawk on the Street.
