Ahmet Hakan Coşkun is a prominent Turkish journalist, television presenter, and author. He currently serves as the editor-in-chief of Hürriyet and hosts the political talk show Tarafsız Bölge on CNN Türk.
Ahmet Hakan Coşkun was born in 1967 in Yozgat, Turkey. He spent his childhood in various cities, including Amasya, Balıkesir, and Çanakkale. He graduated from Uludağ University’s Faculty of Theology, though he also demonstrated a strong early interest in literature and creative writing. During his university years, he authored numerous short stories, some of which were published in local literary magazines.
Coşkun began his journalism career in 1993 as a reporter with TGRT, contributing to the channel’s news program Echo. In 1995, he moved to Kanal 7, where he served as a news anchor and reporter until 2003. While at Kanal 7, he became the face of several high-profile programs, including the current affairs show Sancak.
