Ashley Purdy, an American musician and fashion designer, was born on January 28, 1984, in Berger, Missouri. Although his first name is considered gender-neutral, Ashley Purdy is male. After losing his parents at a young age, he was raised by his grandparents.
During his childhood, Purdy described himself as a "cool kid" who was never bullied. In addition to his role in Black Veil Brides, Ashley Purdy has earned recognition as an accomplished metal bassist. He was nominated for the Kerrang! Hottest Male Award and ranked among the 100 Greatest Living Rock Stars in 2011. That same year, the band won the Revolver Golden God Award for Best New Band and the WGRD Listener’s Choice Band of the Year.
Standing at 5 feet 11 inches and weighing approximately 64 kg, Purdy is known for his distinctive look, featuring blue eyes and brown hair. He briefly dated model Kina Tavarozi during his early career, and although they eventually broke up, they remained on good terms. In 2015, he was linked to adult film actress Nikki Benz, causing widespread speculation on social media. In response to online backlash, Purdy temporarily deactivated his accounts, later clarifying that the two were merely friends.
