Role in Smallville
Callum Blue auditioned for the role of Lex Luthor in the long-running television series Smallville. Although the part ultimately went to Michael Rosenbaum, Blue was later cast as Major Zod, a younger clone of General Zod from the Superman canon. He portrayed this character as a series regular during the show's ninth season, which aired from 2009 to 2010, and returned as a special guest star in the tenth and final season in 2011, appearing in a total of 13 episodes.
