Early Life and Family Background

Christopher Livingstone Eubank Jr. was born on September 18, 1989, in Hove, United Kingdom. He is the son of former two-weight world boxing champion Chris Eubank and Suzanne Shankland (often incorrectly reported as Suzanne Stephen Martin). He attended Brighton College before focusing full-time on his boxing career. Eubank Jr. gained public attention early in life through appearances alongside his father in the reality TV series "At Home with the Eubanks."

At the age of 16, Eubank Jr. and his brother, Sebastian Eubank, moved to the United States to live with Irene Hutton, a legal guardian. According to their mother, Karron, this arrangement was intended to help the boys obtain dual citizenship and enhance their prospects in sports, particularly boxing.

Amateur Boxing Career

Eubank Jr. began boxing competitively in 2007 while living in the United States. He quickly gained recognition in the amateur circuit and, after winning his sixth match, became the Amateur Golden Gloves Champion of Nevada in the 165 lb weight division. His early success paved the way for his transition into the professional boxing arena.

Professional Achievements and Rankings

Over the years, Eubank Jr. has established himself as a formidable force in both the middleweight and super-middleweight divisions. In February 2018, BoxRec ranked him as the world’s top super-middleweight boxer. He was also ranked third by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board and fourth by The Ring magazine during the same period. These rankings affirmed his status as a globally recognized and competitive athlete in the boxing community.
