Danielle Fishel is an American actress and television personality, best known for her portrayal of Topanga Lawrence in the popular 1993 television series Boy Meets World. She reprised this iconic role in its sequel series, Girl Meets World. Born in Mesa, Arizona, Fishel is of partial Maltese descent. Her father worked as a medical equipment sales executive, while her mother was a personal manager. When Danielle was just three weeks old, her family relocated to California. She has one sibling and later graduated from Calabasas High School.
Fishel began her acting career at the age of 10, performing in community theater productions of Peter Pan and The Wizard of Oz. Within months, she transitioned to commercial work and voice acting.
