India Eisley

Early Life and Family Background

India Joy Eisley was born on October 29, 1993, in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of musician David Glen Eisley and actress Olivia Hussey, who died in December 2024. Her grandfather, Anthony Eisley, was also an actor, known for his work in television during the 1960s. India is of English and Argentinian descent through her mother’s side.

Before marrying David Glen Eisley in 1991, her mother was married to Japanese singer Akira Fuse. India has a half-brother, Max Fuse, from that marriage, and another half-brother, Alexander Martin, from Olivia Hussey's earlier marriage to Dean Paul Martin.

Personal Interests and Education

India Eisley was drawn to the entertainment world from a young age, influenced by her family's artistic background. Her hobbies include dancing—she took ballet lessons as a child—and she also studied martial arts. She briefly did modeling work in her early years, including fashion shows.

Known for her love of animals, Eisley has a variety of pets, including five dogs, three potbellied pigs, a rabbit, a parrot, and a cat. She has expressed interest in pursuing veterinary studies in the future, including coursework in pet medicine, potentially at New York University.

Originally named India due to her mother’s spiritual connection to the country, she is also a fan of classic films and enjoys cooking in her free time. India has kept a low profile regarding her romantic life; since 2025 she has been reported to be dating actor Henry Thomas.
