Jennie Runk is an American plus-size model best known for her appearance in H&M’s 2013 beachwear campaign. She was born on June 13, 1989, in Georgia. During her childhood, her family was actively involved in animal rescue, often fostering dogs. Runk herself volunteered at a cat adoption center operated by Open Door Animal Sanctuary at a PetSmart store in Chesterfield, Missouri. It was there that she was discovered by Mary Clarke of Mother Model Management.
Jennie Runk began her professional modeling career after signing with Wilhelmina Models in March 2004. She later transitioned to Ford Models as her career progressed. In 2011, she relocated to New York City to pursue modeling full-time. Her first major editorial feature appeared in Vogue magazine’s "Shape" issue, where she was photographed by renowned fashion photographer Steven Meisel. Runk has modeled for several prominent plus-size brands, including two notable campaigns for Marina Rinaldi in 2012.
