Later Career and Team Transitions

Following his tenure with the Giants, Shockey went on to play for the New Orleans Saints and later the Carolina Panthers. While with the Saints, he contributed to the team’s victory in Super Bowl XLIV, adding depth and experience to the tight end unit. He retired from professional football in 2011, concluding a memorable and physical NFL career.
