Early Life and Education

Rebecca Wisocky was born on November 12, 1971, in York, Pennsylvania. From a young age, she demonstrated a strong inclination toward the arts, leading her to attend the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts. She later moved to New York City to further pursue her passion and graduated from the Experimental Theatre Wing at New York University.

Stage Career

Wisocky began her acting career in theatre in 1995. Her Broadway debut was in the play The Play’s the Thing, which served as a strong introduction to the stage. Over the years, she has appeared in a wide array of acclaimed stage productions, including Amazons and Their Men with Clubbed Thumb, Antigone with the Classic Stage Company, A Tale of Two Cities with the Culture Project, and The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant at the Henry Miller Theatre.
