While maintaining her physical conditioning, Patricia also ventured into broadcasting by becoming a co-host on Live Audio Wrestling, a Canadian sports talk radio show. She joined hosts Big Daddy Donnie and Jeff Marek, the latter being a prominent television and radio personality based in Ontario.
Her transition into professional wrestling began when she signed a contract with WWE. The company arranged for her to train under veteran wrestler Ron Hutchison at Sully’s Gym in Toronto. Under his guidance, she honed her in-ring skills and made her WWE debut in March 2000 on the program Sunday Night Heat, portraying a villainous character.
Patricia's wrestling career quickly gained momentum. In 2001, she captured the WWE Women’s Championship. She followed that with a win of the WWE Hardcore Championship in 2002. Her success continued in 2003 when she reclaimed the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania XIX, establishing herself as one of WWE’s most accomplished female wrestlers.
Ron Fisico and Patricia Stratigeas met in 1992 while both were students at Bayview Secondary School. Their teenage romance evolved into a long-term relationship, lasting over 14 years before they married in September 2006. The couple resides in Toronto, Ontario, with their son, Maximus, who was born in September 2013. Their enduring relationship has paralleled their individual successes in fitness and sports entertainment.
