Career in Meteorology

After graduating, Mohr began her career in weather forecasting, first working for KTVK in Phoenix, Arizona. There, she served as a weekend meteorologist and also hosted the popular morning show Good Morning Arizona. Her skill in delivering accurate forecasts and engaging presentation quickly earned her recognition.

Mohr’s career advanced as she sought out new challenges and opportunities. She went on to become an on-camera meteorologist for The Weather Channel. Recognized for her capabilities, she later accepted a role as chief meteorologist for KPIX-TV in San Francisco and subsequently for WXIA-TV in Atlanta. Throughout her career, she has reported on a wide range of weather conditions, including coverage of natural disasters, which has showcased her depth of expertise.

Current Role at CNN and HLN

Mohr currently works as a meteorologist with HLN and contributes to CNN International, both based in Atlanta.
