Swatting involves making a false report to emergency services to provoke a large response, often involving armed police. STPeach later described the experience as "terrifying and really scary."
The call was traced to Tyler Raj Barriss of Los Angeles, California, a known serial swatter. At the time, Barriss was under investigation for a separate swatting incident in Wichita, Kansas, which tragically resulted in the death of Andrew Finch. Barriss was eventually arrested and sentenced to 20 years in prison in March 2019 for multiple swatting incidents, including the one involving STPeach.
STPeach is in a relationship with Jay, a Korean-American registered nurse who often makes appearances in her live streams and social media content.
