Education

Bayer attended Orange High School in Ohio, where she first explored her interest in performing arts. Early Career and Breakthrough

She interned at Sesame Street and participated in comedic theater groups including Bloomers, an all-female musical and sketch troupe at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, Bayer trained and performed with Chicago's iO Theater and the Annoyance Theatre, gaining experience in improvisational comedy. She was also part of the cast of Off the Cuff, a Chicago-based improv show, and often collaborated with fellow comedian and SNL cast member Paul Brittain in various stage productions.

Bayer joined Saturday Night Live in 2010, debuting on September 25. Over her seven seasons on the show, she created and portrayed a variety of memorable characters, showcasing her talent for impressions and sketch comedy.
