Victor Rasuk was born on January 15, 1984, in New York City, New York, USA. He comes from a Dominican-American family; his mother was a seamstress and his father worked in an auto repair shop. Despite his modest upbringing, Rasuk pursued his passion for the arts from a young age. He enrolled in a performing arts high school and began acting at the age of 14, quickly discovering his lifelong vocation. At 18, he co-starred with his brother Silvestre Rasuk in the critically acclaimed film Raising Victor Vargas.
Rasuk's first on-screen appearance came at age 16 in the short film Five Feet High and Rising, directed by Peter Sollett. This short later evolved into the feature-length film Raising Victor Vargas (2002), which premiered to widespread acclaim.
