Entry into Show Business

After leaving Naga City, Bayola pursued acting through local classes and began performing in small shows around the Philippines. Breakthrough with Eat Bulaga! and Other Early Works

Bayola's television debut occurred in the early 2000s when he joined the long-running Philippine variety show Eat Bulaga! His comedic talent earned him a spot on The Jose & Wally Show in 2001, where he performed alongside Jimmy Santos and Vic Sotto. Although he appeared in a few other productions during this time, they were not as prominent and did not gain mainstream television exposure.

Notable Film Career and Rise to Fame

In 2011, Bayola appeared in the comedy film Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak!, which received favorable audience feedback. That same year, he was part of the ensemble cast of Enteng Ng Ina Mo, a film that received a nomination at the Metro Manila Film Festival. The movie significantly expanded his audience and elevated his profile as a comedian and actor. As part of the promotion for these films, Bayola also appeared on popular Philippine TV programs such as ASAP and The Buzz.

Jose and Wally Live Concerts

In 2012, Wally Bayola and his long-time stage partner Jose Manalo held a concert titled Jose and Wally Show: A Party for Juan and All at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The event was a massive success, with tickets selling out within days. Their follow-up concert the following year at the same venue was equally successful, cementing their stature as one of the Philippines' beloved comedy duos.

Return to Eat Bulaga! and Character Roles

Bayola made a notable return to Eat Bulaga! several years later, where he portrayed humorous characters such as Doktora Dora de Explorer and a parody of Rihanna. These roles were well-received by audiences, further showcasing his versatility in comedy and performance.
