Ant Anstead is a British television presenter and car specialist best known for co-hosting the automotive shows For the Love of Cars and Wheeler Dealers.
Anthony Richard Anstead was born in March 1979 in Plymouth, United Kingdom. He later moved to Hertfordshire, where he grew up and received his early education.
Ant Anstead began his career in law enforcement, serving as a police officer with the Hertfordshire Constabulary. He was one of the UK's youngest armed officers and received two commendations for bravery before leaving the police force at the age of 25 to pursue his passion for vehicle building and automotive design.
From a young age, Anstead showed a keen interest in car construction and design. After transitioning out of law enforcement, he started creating custom vehicles tailored to individual client specifications. The couple married in a private ceremony at their Newport Beach, California home on December 22, 2018.
