Bridgette Leann Wilson-Sampras, professionally known as Bridgette Wilson, was born on September 25, 1973, in Gold Beach, Oregon, United States. She is the daughter of Kathy and Dale Wilson and has one sibling, Tracy E. Wilson. Bridgette graduated from Gold Beach High School, where she actively participated in extracurricular activities, including playing piano and being a member of the school's volleyball team.

Miss Teen USA and Career Beginnings

At the age of 17, Bridgette Wilson earned national recognition by winning the title of Miss Teen USA in 1990. This achievement opened the door to opportunities in the entertainment industry. She began her acting career with a role in the daytime soap opera Santa Barbara, appearing on the show until 1992 and gaining increased visibility as a result.

Film and Television Career

Following her success on television, Wilson transitioned to film, appearing in movies such as Last Action Hero (1993), Higher Learning (1995), Billy Madison (1995), Mortal Kombat (1995), I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), and The Wedding Planner (2001). Her role in House on Haunted Hill (1999) contributed to the film’s weekend box office success during its release.

In addition to her work in film, Wilson appeared in a number of popular television series, including Saved by the Bell, Murder, She Wrote, The Street, CSI: Miami, and Carpoolers. Altogether, her acting career spanned from 1992 to 2008, during which she appeared in approximately 25 films and 10 television shows.
