Early Life and Family Background

Daisy Carmen Bevan was born on March 23, 1992, in London, England. She is the daughter of actress Joely Richardson and film producer Tim Bevan. As a member of the illustrious Redgrave family, Daisy represents the fifth generation of actors in her lineage. She is the granddaughter of acclaimed actress Vanessa Redgrave and was the niece of the late Natasha Richardson. Though Liam Neeson was married to Natasha Richardson, he is Daisy's uncle by marriage rather than by blood.

Her parents divorced when she was five years old. Despite their separation, Daisy remains close to both, living primarily with her mother in London. She also has two half-siblings from her father’s second marriage.

Health and Personal Challenges

At the age of one, Daisy was diagnosed with a rare circulatory condition that affected her legs. The condition required several surgeries, particularly when she was around fifteen years old. During this time, her mother, Joely Richardson, took a hiatus from the television series Nip/Tuck to care for her. Despite these challenges, Daisy has emerged resilient and continued to pursue her ambitions in the performing arts.

Education and Training

Daisy Bevan received her early education at Bedales School, a progressive independent school in Hampshire known for its focus on creativity and the arts. Following her passion for acting, she later enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Manhattan, New York. Acting Career

Daisy began her acting career at a young age, making her film debut in 1998 with a brief role in Elizabeth, which was produced by her father's company, Working Title Films. In 2001, she appeared as the younger version of her mother’s character in The Affair of the Necklace. After focusing on her education, she returned to acting with a supporting role in the 2014 film adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's novel, The Two Faces of January.
