Early Life and Background

Dilraba Dilmurat was born on June 3, 1992, in Ürümqi, Xinjiang, China. She belongs to the Uyghur ethnic minority group and was raised in a culturally rich environment that later influenced her artistic pursuits.

Breakthrough in Television Acting

She made her acting debut in 2013 with the television series Anarhan, where she played the female lead. The series was well received and earned a nomination for “Outstanding Television Series” at the 30th Flying Apsaras Awards—China's prestigious government-sponsored television awards.

Following her debut, Dilraba signed with Jay Walk Studio, a talent agency co-founded by actress Yang Mi. She starred in the company's produced web drama V Love, which began building her fan base. Her popularity grew significantly after she appeared in the fantasy drama Swords of Legends (2014), where she played a supporting role that drew widespread attention.

Rising Fame and Award Recognition

In 2015, Dilraba co-starred in the romantic comedy drama Diamond Lover, portraying a lively and spirited pop star. Her performance earned her the “Audience's Favorite Newcomer” award at the 7th China TV Drama Awards.

The following year, in 2016, she took on her first leading television role in the action-comedy drama Hot Girl. Her performance was well received and led to her winning the “Outstanding New Actress” honor at the ENAwards the same year.

Transition to Film and Continued Success

Also in 2016, Dilraba made the leap to film with her big-screen debut as a lead actress in the romantic comedy Mr. Pride vs Miss Prejudice, which was released in 2017. Her role in the film earned her the “Best New Actress” award at the China Britain Film Festival.
