Don Francisco

Don Francisco is recognized not only for his entertainment achievements but also for his philanthropic work and inspirational messaging. He led Chile's Teletón charity telethon from its start in 1978 until 2021, when he stepped down as its main host. With a net worth estimated at around $100 million, he has used his platform to support various charitable causes throughout the Spanish-speaking world.

In October 2026 he returned to Univision with Gigantes con Don Francisco, a series of interview specials taped in the former Sábado Gigante studio.

Despite living much of his life in the public eye, Don Francisco has maintained a reputation for discretion and humility. While he faced criticism and gossip—like many in the spotlight—he has consistently found ways to rise above it, forging ahead with integrity and dedication to his audience.
