Nikki Cox is an American actress best known for her roles in the television series Unhappily Ever After, Las Vegas, and Nikki.
Nicole Avery Cox was born on June 2, 1978, in Santa Monica, California. She is the daughter of Meredith Avery Cox and Terry Kay Cox. Her father later became her personal manager. Nikki has a younger brother, Matthew Cox, who is also involved in the entertainment industry as an actor.
Cox was previously in a relationship with comedian and actor Bobcat Goldthwait. The two met while working together on the sitcom Unhappily Ever After and were reportedly engaged in 1997, though the relationship eventually ended.
In December 2006, Nikki married actor and comedian Jay Mohr. The couple met while working together on the film Lonely Street. Jay later legally changed his name to Jay Ferguson Cox Mohr. Together, they have a son named Meredith Daniel Mohr, born in May 2011. Nikki is also stepmother to Jay’s son from a previous relationship.
