Jean Paige Turco was born on May 17, 1965, in Springfield, Massachusetts. As a child, she pursued ballet and performed as a soloist with the New England Dance Conservatory, the Amherst Ballet Theatre Company, and the Massachusetts Ballet Company. Unfortunately, her aspirations of becoming a professional ballerina ended after a serious ankle injury.
Following her injury, Turco shifted her focus to acting. She attended Bay Path College before transferring to the University of Connecticut, where she earned a degree in drama.
Paige Turco made her television debut in 1987 on the CBS daytime soap opera Guiding Light. She gained widespread recognition for her role as April O’Neil in the 1991 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, a sequel to the original 1990 hit film. Her portrayal helped cement her status as a notable actress in the early 1990s.
Beyond her role in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, Turco appeared in several other films. Her filmography includes titles such as Dead Funny (1994), Vibrations (1996), Claire Makes It Big (1999), Dead Dog (2001), Invincible (2006), and The Stepfather (2009).

In 2003, Paige Turco married Irish actor Jason O’Mara. The couple had one son, David, named in honor of Paige’s late father. In June 2017, Turco and O’Mara announced their separation and subsequently filed for divorce.
