Health and Advocacy

In November 2018, Green publicly revealed that he had been diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), a progressive neurodegenerative disease. He has stated that he believes the condition may be linked to his football career, although the medical community continues to study such connections. Despite his diagnosis, Green remains active in advocacy and public service. He currently serves on the board of the Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse, New York, and also contributes to the National Writing Project, supporting writing and literacy development nationwide.

Personal Life and Family

Tim Green lives with his wife, Illyssa, and their five children in Upstate New York. The family also has three dogs. Outside of his professional endeavors, Green enjoys a range of outdoor activities, including sailing, fishing, running, and swimming. He values time spent with family and embraces a lifestyle centered on balance and personal well-being.
